RCM Skywall

RCM Skywall is a modular infrastructure protection system combining an engineering obstacle, an anti-vehicle barrier and passive counter-UAS protection. The system is based on RCM Gwiazdoblok prefabricated blocks with integrated technical openings for support structures and anti-drone nets designed to protect against FPV drones and other unmanned airborne threats.

The system was developed to protect critical infrastructure, military facilities, warehouses, command posts, ammunition storage sites, industrial facilities, energy infrastructure and operational zones. RCM Skywall addresses threat scenarios in which an attack may originate from both the ground and the air.

RCM Gwiazdoblok — a dual-use reinforced-concrete component

The system is based on prefabricated RCM Gwiazdoblok units. Their mass, geometry and rapid deployment capability allow effective barriers to be created against wheeled and tracked vehicles.

An integrated technical opening in the tapered arm transforms a conventional anti-vehicle obstacle into a multi-purpose infrastructure platform. It can accommodate posts, support structures, protective nets and other security components.

RCM Skywall can therefore create a layered protection zone around an asset, combining an engineering obstacle with passive protection against airborne threats.

The solution reflects lessons from modern armed conflicts, where infrastructure is threatened from both ground and air. It enables protected zones to be established rapidly around critical infrastructure, military facilities, warehouses, command posts and logistics facilities, including protection against the widespread use of FPV drones.

1. Anti-tank and anti-vehicle barrier

  • tactical functionality comparable to a conventional concrete anti-tank obstacle;
  • rapid blocking of roads, passages and transport nodes;
  • high mass and stability for passive area denial.

2. Foundation for counter-UAS protection

The integrated opening enables the immediate installation of:

  • posts for counter-UAS netting;
  • masts for acoustic detectors;
  • masts for short-range radar;
  • support structures for soft-kill and hard-kill systems.

RCM Skywall

Dual-use capability

The system can protect bases, storage sites, radar stations and mobile command posts. It provides a ready-made foundation that does not require concrete to be poured on site, simplifying logistics and reducing construction time.

No earthworks or on-site concreting are required.
