RCM Bastion modular shelter system

Drawing on lessons from modern warfare, including the war in Ukraine, where rapid relocation, concealment and infrastructure resilience are critical, RCM has developed a modular shelter system based on prefabricated interlocking structural blocks.

RCM Bastion

A modular dual-use shelter system

RCM Bastion combines engineering performance with mobility and operational flexibility. It is an economical solution that can serve either as temporary protection or as part of permanent protective infrastructure.

The system follows RCM’s dual-use approach: the investment remains useful in peacetime and can be rapidly converted into protective infrastructure when a threat arises.

RCM Bastion

Key advantages of RCM Bastion

  • assembly and dismantling within hours rather than days;
  • full mobility and the ability to relocate the system;
  • repeated use of components without loss of operational performance;
  • flexible configurations adapted to the terrain and mission;
  • a structure designed for operational use;
  • dual-use functionality in peacetime and during emergencies.

Rapid deployment is critical when artillery, missile and unmanned-system threats are present.

Dual-use applications

During a security emergency

  • shelter for personnel, equipment and supplies;
  • protection for communications posts;
  • protection for unmanned systems;
  • shielding for operational infrastructure.

In peacetime

  • storage facilities and technical bays;
  • logistics facilities;
  • protective partitions for material storage areas;
  • industrial and municipal infrastructure.

Modularity and scalability

The prefabricated blocks can be arranged in a range of configurations:

  • linear layouts;
  • corner configurations;
  • closed protective perimeters;
  • multi-compartment layouts.

The structure can be expanded in stages as operational or logistics requirements develop. The system supports both individual protective structures and larger modular infrastructure complexes.

RCM Bastion

Applications

RCM Bastion can be used for:

  • protecting critical infrastructure;
  • securing bases and logistics facilities;
  • protecting industrial and warehouse sites;
  • supporting emergency and rescue operations;
  • constructing temporary or semi-permanent protective structures.
